Sealing patios and front porches

Sealing your concrete patio or front porch is critical for extending the life of the concrete.  Maintaining your concrete is as important as maintaining your house.  Concrete should be sealed every 3-5 years using a protective coating that repels water, salt and other elements. 

A good sealing maintenance program prevents further spaulding and pop-outs, meaning longer duration of the existing concrete. 

If your steps are looking really bad, you might consider an overlay system to improve the look and health of your concrete.  By using an overlay system, we can not only repair cracks and fill holes, but also add a decorative element to your steps (such as a brick or stone look).  The same overlay system can be used for your porch and patios- enhancing the aesthetics of your outdoor areas.
